Or at least this is a problem in Texas. Teachers and Schools only teach you what you need to know to take the TAKS test (The Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills). Once you’ve taken the TAKS test they start teaching you for next years TAKS. I think that testing students to get an idea of where they is a great idea on paper but not if thats all the schools...
