Just whatever random thoughts that I get. A lot of it is media stuff, and there's a little social justice but not near enough for me to feel like I'm doing my part but I'm working on that! Also sometimes I feel depressed so there will be angst-filled posts as well sorry. I tend to go through stages with stuff, obsessing over it and then ignoring it for a while so deal with it. And um thanks for stopping by I guess?

So engagement rings/wedding bands kind of annoy me in nonmodern fictional world stuff.

Like, most people will do work with their hands. Why would they want a luxury item on their hand where it could get in the way or be ruined or anything else?

Which is why I like betrothal necklaces like in AtLA are something I really like.

However I also like both parties involved in a monogamous marriage to contribute to the symbol of their union.

So I actually kinda like the idea where one party has to make the chain part of the necklace and one makes the pendant part. The pendant is then split so both can use it.

So like… If it wasn’t split, the necklace would look like this ——-o0o———, with the chain part looping through where the o’s are.

Then it gets split, so it’s like ——-oc for both parts, with the pendant hanging down instead of interrupting/being in front of the chain. If that makes sense?

IDK I JUST REALLY LIKE THIS AND FEEL LIKE IT’S MORE EQUAL THAN ONE PERSON MAKING OR BUYING THE SYMBOL WITHOUT THE OTHER PARTY
