Just whatever random thoughts that I get. A lot of it is media stuff, and there's a little social justice but not near enough for me to feel like I'm doing my part but I'm working on that! Also sometimes I feel depressed so there will be angst-filled posts as well sorry. I tend to go through stages with stuff, obsessing over it and then ignoring it for a while so deal with it. And um thanks for stopping by I guess?

goodness me if anyone can get anywhere close to even a B on the FFX DLC tracks’ Ultimate scores they have my respect

dimbosama replied to your post: My Dark Notes sure do like Mambo de Chocobo …

Is Dancing Mad on it? Because if it doesn’t have Dancing Mad then I’m going to have to march on Square-Enix with an army.

Yus! It’s not available right away, but it’s on here!

Basically as you play each song you get an overall point thing called Rythmia- I consistently get over 30 each song, usually around 80 except on the Ultimate difficulties or if it’s a song from one that I haven’t played. You get something at every 500 or 1000 Rythmia which is semi-randomly generated (it seems like every 5k is always going to be a certain thing because they’re like mode unlocks and stuff).

You get Dancing Mad at 10k, iirc. And IT IS AWESOME.

(as I’ve said before, the note chart for Dancing Mad is utterly perfect on all difficulties and has no “osdnfkjdgbjkdfb WHERE THE HELL DID THAT COME FROM” notes)

My Dark Notes sure do like Mambo de Chocobo

(dammit why does there only seem to be one Chocobo song in this game GIVE US THE OTHERS

also Vamo Alla Flamenco if that is not DLC at some point I will have to knock some sense into people)

why do i get so irrationally pissed off at aerith’s theme and celes’ theme being so similar?

they’re both good characters! it’s a good song!

(probably because celes’ theme was also essentially the aria and she was first so it’s supposed to be her tune but ahhh)

FUCK YOU GAME

HOW DARE YOU

I GOT A PERFECT CHAIN

I DID NOT GET A BAD OR MISS ON ANY OF THE NOTES

AND YOU GIVE ME AN A INSTEAD OF AN S?

LOOK I KNOW THE SS RANK IS FOR ALL CRITS

BUT C’MON

I JUST WANT MY S FOR ONYL HAVING CRTIS, GREATS, AND GOODS

DANCING MAD IS ANOTHER PERFECT PLAY

(like just

everything matches up

perfectly)

(i mean none of the songs are horrible but some of them are “ack where’d that note come from!”)

oh fyi

beyond just an intro going

“there’s this thing that needs music so you can beat cosmos”

and “huzzah! you beat cosmos! but we could always use more of the plot trinket!”

there is NO PLOT to th(r)eatrhythm

just so ya’ll know

if that was gonna be your selling point

which idk why it would be

BECAUSE RHYTHM GAME FF

(also the credits are really pretty)

oh wow

so like

One Winged Angel?

THE NOTES ARE ALL PERFECTLY INTUITIVE

(much as I feel anything related to 7 is overhyped)

Like, this is what every track in a rhythm game should play like, regardless of difficulty.

srsly

I was expecting Beatrice’s theme to be hard but that was fun

I was expecting Gilgy’s theme to be challenging but fun and instead it KILLED MY HAND

BE PREPARED FOR PAIN IF YOU GET THEATRHYTHM

This song? This fun one? That is Gilgy’s theme?

About the first 25 seconds are the worst part and it only gets slightly easier.

french the llama battle on the big bridge’s intro is RIDICULOUS
